Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs on 11 September 2020 visited St. Cecilia Orphanage – Ha Bua-Sono, Berea.
Honourable Minister of Home Afairs, Motlalentoa Letsosa accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister,
Mathibeli Mokhothu found it deem to ensure that at St. Cecilia orphanage children are given
a right of identity in their country, which protects them against discrimination from civic
rights as future generation.
Like other outreach programs, the Minister has been monitoring services offered by civil
servants countrywide.
As a Minister his duty is to issue documents to registered people. On this occasion,
Hon. Letsosa showed that this is a unique place whereby a man takes care of children
with dedication and love.
Among those who were issued with birth certificates were 13 girls, 10 boys and 8 Identity Cards.
